Roller derby could not happen without skating officials, non-skating officials, and volunteers. Officials receive free league memberships and are invited to join Skate 100, Endurance, as well as Level and/or team practices suited to their skill levels.

    We teach you everything you need to know in order to become a skating or non-skating official!

  • We have plenty of volunteer positions in need of being filled every bout. Volunteers also get free admission to bouts!

    Positions include security, ticket sales, track monitoring, raffle tickets, merchandise sales, announcing/emceeing, medics, and more! We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

  • CCRD is always looking for medics to volunteer at bouts. At a sanctioned game, the league is required to have two medics available who must be CPR certified and licensed medical professionals. Certifications includes but is not limited to CFR, EMT, RN, BSN, PA, MD, DO, athletic trainers with CPR certification, and paramedics.

    Medics receive free bout admission for themselves and one guest and a nominal stipend, or the option of volunteer hours in lieu of a stipend if they are league members.

  • Yes!

    Referee’s have their own dedicated practices on Sundays.

    Team scrimmages occur on alternating Thursdays.
    Modified-contact scrimmages occur on the third Sunday of each month.
    Junior scrimmages occur on the first Sunday of each month.
